In case of a heavy workload, KaDeck Web (Project & Enterprise) can be operated in a cluster, and thus a load distribution over several instances (scale-out) can be achieved. This is always useful when a high number of parallel accesses and computationally-intensive queries are executed in KaDeck Web.
No configuration adjustment is necessary in KaDeck Web itself. Scaling is achieved via load balancers and the container environment.
The chart shows the architecture of a KaDeck Web cluster on AWS. However, the same effect can be achieved on other cloud environments (e.g. Google Cloud or Azure) or on-prem using similar services.
